Trickle 02:59
Under a greed attack They still want more and more We have to take it back Or what’s our power for? All that money All that money Its was never theirs to take All that money It’s a double prison break Take the most dangerous weapon away Ten million dollars annually What’s your price to join their side?

The good old days ain’t old at all A wasted youth is still a ball A common life but we forget The good old days ain’t happened yet You take the opportunities The cultures move societies The changes now will change the future This moment’s holding all your power ME? I wouldn’t change it Just give me more of that Good ole same ole Like you had back then The good ole days ain’t good at all The tales of memories are tall You’re longing for your yesterday But forward is a better way And in our way, the powerful Progression costs their capital Together we can overpower And let the good ole days be ours ME? I wouldn’t change it Just give me more of that Good ole same ole Like you had back then ME? I wouldn’t change it Just give me more of that Good ole same ole Like you had back then Lost in your mind How long? Your thoughts aligned I was wrong Can I recognize a change of mind? How long? Could you see me in another light? I was wrong Am I leaving my reality behind? Strung along Can I recognize a change of mine? Come along ME? I wouldn’t change it Just give me more of that Good ole same ole Like you had back then ME? I wouldn’t change it Just give me more of that Good ole same ole Like you had back then

Money Man 04:38
Envying the lives of wealthy wealthy men But you’re just a pawn, you aren’t one of them Don’t forget that Money man, he’s got a plan He can give you what you need “Money man, lend us a hand We can subsidize your greed” Suddenly you found yourself inside a hole Up against a wall, things out of your control If you weren’t penniless, trapped in a cell You would climb that ladder well If you’ve got a lot, there’s always more to make If you’ve got the least there’s always more to take Power hungry parasite sucking you dry He was such a lovely guy Envying the lives of wealthy wealthy men But you’re just a pawn, you aren’t one of them Don’t forget that Money man, he’s got a plan He can give you what you need “Money man, lend us a hand We can subsidize your greed” Sitting on their assets, washing filthy hands They control the prices, hell with your demands They’ve worked so much Harder than you, they’ve gotta thrive Prey on families to survive Envying the lives of wealthy wealthy men But you’re just a pawn, you aren’t one of them Don’t forget that Money man, he’s got a plan He can give you what you need “Money man, lend us a hand We can subsidize your greed”

Better Days 05:27
Not alone but I am floating Where are we? How much further is the floor? Currents shouldn’t overtake me But now the door is closed and I can’t see the light oh anymore Me and all the other drops at the bottom of the ocean Waiting for the wave that comes and drags us along Even if we crash ashore we know it’s only for a moment Where we are is home, amongst the waters we belong Amongst the waters we belong Not afraid but I am wary Hung jury Who can say when what is wrong? Burdens none of us should carry Maybe we move on but we keep dragging them along Me and all the other drops at the bottom of the ocean Waiting for the wave that comes and drags us along Even if we crash ashore we know it’s only for a moment Where we are is home, amongst the waters we belong Amongst the waters we belong We shall find a way To better days

about

Solidarity with Bandcamp United.

Our government has never been truly representative of the people and has devolved into pure oligarchy. The working class has been left behind by our leaders and mercilessly exploited by the ultra-wealthy and their insatiable greed. Acknowledging the current socio-political reality of our country is the first step in the fight against the broken system being forced upon us. Those in power want us to stay divided. By building working class solidarity and organizing the people, we can change the fucking world.

We’re focused on bringing people together to demand action and combat issues that cross party and cultural lines. We’ve supported the Campaign for NY Health to demand Universal Healthcare for all New Yorkers. We’ve taken nonviolent direct action with Extinction Rebellion to demand an end to new fossil fuel projects and declare a climate emergency. We’re supporting The Freedom to Vote Act, and urging people to fight for democracy and against corruption through the organization Represent Us.

These issues are not unrelated. The common factor is big money interests and their ability to corrupt our institutions at every level. It’s time for the people realize their power. It’s time for the working class to unite for economic justice. It’s time for us to STOP THE MONEY.

In the 1950’s, the working class was thriving under Republican President Eisenhower and his progressive tax plan. From 1953-1961, the top marginal rate was at 91%. It is time to reinstate this as the norm in American society. We call on congress to simplify the tax code, close the loopholes for the ultra-wealthy, and tax the rich like we did in the good ole days.

In the meantime, the best way to fight back against unfathomable greed is to support the right to organize your workplace. We’re telling our story of unionizing under Teamsters Local 817 and winning our first contract as Location Scouts for Film and TV. We’re encouraging all workers to join a union, form a union, or support a union. We, and the majority of our friends and coworkers in the film and TV industry, have been out of work for months. Our industry has almost completely shut down due to corporate greed, and hundreds of thousands of workers are affected.

We stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA, and we are looking forward to going back to our jobs when the AMPTP decides they are ready to offer a fair contract. We stand with striking workers everywhere who are demanding their value be recognized by the owner class. We stand with organizers who are working towards union recognition and their first contracts. The most effective way to fight corporate greed is to join our working siblings in solidarity. Workers everywhere are demanding their fair share of profits. They know that they provide all of the value these companies have. Without workers, these businesses are worthless.

Stand with us, and together we will change the fucking world. Solidarity forever!
