about
Locations is once again using our latest release to promote a cause we believe in and an action our fans can take. We encourage you to reject the “Good Ole Same Ole” when it comes to political corruption and get involved at the grassroots level to push for change. @ the bipartisan anti-corruption pro-voter movement, is fighting for the policies to fix the American political system.
These policies include:
Ending the influence of money in politics
Making elections accessible and secure for all
Implementing ranked choice voting
Enforcing term limits to end career politicians
Ending partisan gerrymandering
Expanding voter registration
Challenging the two-party duopoly
Last week, Congress reintroduced The Freedom to Vote Act (FTVA) which eliminates barriers to voting, outlaws gerrymandering, limits the influence of dark money in elections, and makes Election Day a national holiday. RepresentUs has joined the Declaration for American Democracy (DFAD), a coalition of 260 pro-democracy organizations, in urging Congress to immediately pass the FTVA.
lyrics
The good old days ain’t old at all
A wasted youth is still a ball
A common life but we forget
The good old days ain’t happened yet
You take the opportunities
The cultures move societies
The changes now will change the future
This moment’s holding all your power
ME?
I wouldn’t change it
Just give me more of that
Good ole same ole
Like you had back then
The good ole days ain’t good at all
The tales of memories are tall
You’re longing for your yesterday
But forward is a better way
And in our way, the powerful
Progression costs their capital
Together we can overpower
And let the good ole days be ours
ME?
I wouldn’t change it
Just give me more of that
Good ole same ole
Like you had back then
ME?
I wouldn’t change it
Just give me more of that
Good ole same ole
Like you had back then
Lost in your mind
How long?
Your thoughts aligned
I was wrong
Can I recognize a change of mind?
How long?
Could you see me in another light?
I was wrong
Am I leaving my reality behind?
Strung along
Can I recognize a change of mine?
Come along
ME?
I wouldn’t change it
Just give me more of that
Good ole same ole
Like you had back then
ME?
I wouldn’t change it
Just give me more of that
Good ole same ole
Like you had back then
